02/04/2024 - Chordale "The Gift" Booker (22-1, 10 KOs) turned back an inspired challenge from Greg "The Villain" Vendetti (23-6-1, 12 KOs) at Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday night, winning a 10-round decision over the Wakefield native by scores of 99-91 (2) and 98-92.

Going into the bout, Booker was irked as Vendetti questioned whether Chordale had the grit and gas tank to win a war of attrition. Booker swore that he would make a believer of ‘The Villain’ through the course of their 10-round contest, and he delivered on that promise.

02/04/2024 - Booker defeated former world title challenger Greg Vendetti by unanimous decision Saturday night at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut. Scores were 99-91, 99-91, and 98-92 for Booker, who improved to 22-1, 10 knockouts.

02/02/2024 - Booker, known as “The Gift,” owns a 21-1 record with 10 KOs. He has won four straight matches, including a victory over Daniel Aduku for the vacant Super Welterweight belt in April, 2023. Venditti,“The Villain,” is from Stoneham, Mass., and is 23-5-1 with 12 KOs.

02/01/2024 - Booker (21-1, 10 knockouts), who resides in nearby Stamford, is usually soft-spoken, but has been irked by recent comments by Vendetti, questioning Booker’s grit, skills set and level of opposition. Booker stated he will let his hands do the talking rather than get in a war of words with Vendetti.

“I hate when guys downplay me as a fighter,” said Booker in a recent media release. “Vendetti said that I have a brittle spirit. I don’t understand that assessment. He can think that, but I’m still going to beat his ass one way or another on (Saturday night).

01/22/2024 - Stamford boxer Chordale Booker is set to defend his WBC USA Super Welterweight title against Greg Vendetti on February 3, 2024.

“His coach is going to want to throw in the towel because I’m going to hit him a lot,” Booker told the crowd in Stamford on Saturday. “He’s going to be able to take the shots I’m sure, but sometimes your body will shut down because you can’t keep getting hit. And he’s going to get hit a lot.”

01/17/2024 - World-ranked 154lb contender Chordale Booker (21-1, 10 KOs) will be making the second defense of his WBC USA title on February 3rd at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut. He will be headlining a card promoted by Jimmy Burchfield’s CES Boxing in a ten-round New England matchup against Greg “The Villain” Vendetti (23-5-1, 12 KOs).

The winner will assert themselves as a legit contender at 154lbs and be firmly in the running for a marquee fight later on this year.
